The Molecular Plant Pathology Laboratory of Jilin University was established in 2016. It is funded by the introduction of academic backbone talents from Jilin University. Dr. Liu Shou’an is the director of the laboratory. In recent years, the laboratory has mainly used genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry and other means to analyze the mechanism of interaction among the three "plants (crops)-pathogenic fungi-environmental (climate) factors". The research content mainly includes: (1) Taking rice and corn in the northeast cold area as the research objects, analyzing the transcriptional regulation mechanism of plant immune and disease resistance and their environmental and climate differences; (2) Taking anthracnose pathogen and Botrytis cinerea as the research objects , To explore the molecular genetics mechanism of pathogenic fungi and host interaction at the initial stage; (3) The mechanism of interaction between plants (crops) and environmental factors.
